 One of the best skills you can get as a married person is the skill that enables you to argue or conflict with your spouse and still stay friends.  The benchmark you must apply is respect. When you have differences in opinion and you apply respect all through the process of decision making, you will have the best. When you volunteer, you gain experiences and the fact that you are serving and helping people adds to make you a better and happier person.  Volunteering exposes you to the needs of others and the fact that you can help them out of it.  Opportunities come out for you when you volunteer and this further opens up horizons for you. Don’t miss the next opportunity to volunteer.  It’s a gold mine that you have been avoiding. Make sure to volunteer at least thrice a year to any cause.  Give it your best shot and you will be shocked at the payoff.

The single you will never be richer than the married you except you are not doing your marriage well.  Most of what we avoid in marriage are actually the things that make marriage put money in our pockets.  We avoid conflicts. We avoid differences. We avoid refusals. We avoid discussions. We don’t want to lose yet it is that loss that redirects us and helps us not to enter into financial troubles and struggles.  Conflicts help us make the best decisions.  Conflicts are actually positive things.  Just make sure you fight fair.

 Your act of marriage is dependent on the person to whom you defer to, in the definition of marriage! Who do you defer to? You cannot run your marriage outside the person you define marriage from.
