SPOUSAL ABUSE AND HOW TO DEAL WITH IT




 In this 21st Century, spousal abuse is still rampant. Many reasons have been adduced but the basic underlying factor seem to be the changing dynamics around earning power and power/control within the family. 

It is no longer a new thing to see more of female gender calling the shots in the families. Many studies have suggested increasing insecurity among the abusing gender as triggering factors. This remains to be studied more

Predisposing factors seem to point at NURTURE - which shows that children raised under abusive environment tend to take up the role when they form their family. 

But then, how do people deal with spousal abuse? Utmost secrecy? Family affair? Unfortunately the secrecy has led to the death or maiming of several members of the family. In the Zoom Talks, Family Colors crew take a dive into discussions concerning the issue.....
